A dedicated process-painter with over two decades of experience in oil painting and printmaking. Recipient of the Ranald & Jennifer May Scholarship, with a practice characterized by large-scale materiality, action painting, and temporal layering. PROFESSIONAL ARTS EXPERIENCE

  • 2022: Workshop Leader, Kelvingrove Museum & Art Gallery. Designed and facilitated painting workshops for the John Byrne retrospective, including specialized art therapy sessions for the visually and hearing impaired.

  • 2022–Present: Gallery & Box Office Assistant, CCA Glasgow. Professional mediation of contemporary exhibitions. Trained in EDI, Disability Awareness, and Autism Awareness.

  • 2012–2020: Studio Residency & Mentorship. Eight-year professional studio residency alongside visual artist Frank Quitely, focusing on large-scale workflow and technical discipline.

  • 2012–2013: Gallery Manager, George Wyllie Retrospective, Mitchell Library. Managed daily operations, volunteer coordination, and artwork sales for a major historical retrospective.

  • 2008–2013: Gallery Assistant, Royal Glasgow Institute (RGI) Annual Open. Coordinated sales, installation, and public engagement for Scotland's largest annual exhibition.

  • 2019: Workshop Leader, Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA). Facilitated still-life painting workshops in conjunction with the Jack Knox exhibition.
